Most two opposing solutions have a motion inside that is trailing towards making them equal. For example I was doing comparing costs of either a) storing stuff where I am and flying 700 miles or b) driving with all my stuff. I calculated that option B will be 30% cheaper. Then I realize that I probably underestimated how much gas my car will take bc car will be a lot heavier so the second decisions that feels cheaper in reality is trailing towards being the same. I am not saying there are no better or worse decisions. I am saying that within to opposing solutions usually there is this equalizing motion that may be not apparent and is trailing towards equalizing them.
