When evaluating a potential action multiply the probability of the action by the size of its potential projected positive impact. Main takeaway is that often people discard all project with low probability of succeeding. However, it is very worthwhile to do projects that has high failure probability but if succeeded can be extremely positive. This especially applies to in environments / systems where there are a lot of attempts.
