Unbiasing
- the author of has a following technique. Pick a word that describes you negatively and one that you are scared other may use it in relation to you. Then say this word hundred times. When you do it, first you stop feeling it, then the connections to shameful emotions looses its power.Steven Hayes
Examples
- Looking at colors. Red and green are opposite on the color spectrum. When you look at a red oval your visual system is counteracting it producing green so when you move your eyes and see a white wall you will see a green oval.
