The great wall of China, what a joke on reality.
In any creative endeavor one shouldn’t try to do top top work. One should try to do work that is good and keep going. What will bring progress is publishing

There is a dead end of meditative thinking. One of them is what Pema Chödrön said in some podcast. Paraphrasing. The longer you look at things the more you realize nothing really matters. Highs are lower and lows are higher. Everything is like numb okay. This is how meditators tackle pain. Just look closely at the shortest frame of now, the rawest form of experience and for eg anxiety becomes similar to excitement, pain is just like electrical current that somebody in you is experiencing. Meditative thinking zooming in on now frame melts down the perception of subtler states of perception like fulfillment, drive to built for good, commradery, happinesses, belonging, mission. It blurs what is worth living for.
The most common excuse to not to meditate: I don’t have time for this “now”. Then you meditate: wow, I spend the time with this “now” and it I am chasing after like a lot, and it is right here plushy and gentle.

Looked at her back and saw incredible beauty. And isn’t not that the beauty is there universally. It’s like our biases, our me-isms are projecting the beauty into it. Perhaps my genes saw a beautiful host, perhaps something else. But on the other hand thinking about Evolution of Beauty or Le Corbusier’s research into golden ratio makes me thinks beauty is something universelizable. What if it is bias like thing 60% and universal like thing 40%. Would aliens find beautiful things beautiful? But isn’t everything beautiful and ugly is just a failure of imagination?
Strategy: I only leave likes on profiles that will long-term-win integrity game and deciphering what is worth doing. I don’t care about the level of each thought as investing in the total number of supporting signals is more important.

Progress in life can be visualized as building platforms or foundations that one can use for future constructions. Think of it like setting up solid bases upon which more advanced structures or endeavors can be launched.
Conversely, not progressing is akin to engaging in scattered, disconnected activities. This lack of cohesion results in structures that, being isolated or unsupported, can't be used effectively in the future, often decomposing or becoming obsolete over time.
